The Seiser Alm is one of the sunniest winter landscapes in South Tyrol and, with around 56 km², is the largest high-altitude alpine pasture in Europe.

Skiing beneath the Dolomites

The Alpe di Siusi ski area offers around 60 kilometres of slopes and 21 modern lifts.

Wide, predominantly easy to intermediate runs make the area particularly enjoyable for families, beginners and anyone who appreciates relaxed skiing in a spectacular mountain setting. Gentle nursery slopes and wide cruising runs are complemented by more challenging descents for experienced skiers.

And thanks to the connection with Val Gardena, the Alpe di Siusi forms part of Dolomiti Superski, one of the largest and most diverse ski areas in the Alps. It also provides access to the famous Sellaronda, one of the most iconic ski circuits in the Dolomites.

More than 80 kilometres of prepared trails are available for both classic cross-country skiing and skating. The routes cross wide snow-covered meadows and peaceful winter landscapes, with magnificent views of the surrounding Dolomite peaks.

Choose between relaxed, mostly gentle routes or more varied trails with climbs and descents for a more demanding experience. The altitude and extensive landscape make the Alpe di Siusi a wonderful destination for both cross-country skiing holidays and high-altitude training.

Early morning is particularly magical, when the first rays of sunlight touch the peaks. And later in the day, the warm glow of sunset transforms the Dolomites once again.
